Grit bin removed! This should be reinstated, grit Lorry never grits the road in the area, the road is on a slope. And is cleared by residents of the cul de sac. Residents use the grit bin. Tell me the savings! Council never fill the bin, but takes a digger, a lorry and a van with trailer and at least 4 staff.

  • We’ve now reviewed your request for a new grit bin. After considering factors such as gradient, location, and proximity to existing bins, the location does not currently meet the criteria for a new bin.

    As we need to prioritise sites based on public safety and winter maintenance policies, no further action will be taken at this time.
