Largish pothole filled with loose rubble on Berrymuir Road adjacent Aspen Way
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:05, Friday 10 July 2026
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 974111.
This pothole was one of many previously reported along Berrymuir Road. For some reason when the existing potholes were filled in (poorly) this one wasn’t. Baffling that obviously Berrymuir Road potholes have all been addressed except this one. Is the person responsible for signing off these jobs competent. Aberdeenshire needs to look at their procedures for Quality Control.

We have an update - we’ve completed our assessment of the defect logged with us and evaluated the risk it poses.
This risk level determines our target response time which are then are used to prioritise and programme work.
At this stage, other defects posing a higher risk are taking priority and we are not planning to carry out any repair work here at this time. The defect location has been recorded and will be assessed again during the next planned inspection for any further deterioration.
