Slug Road Safety

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 973634.

Very recently there has been a big increase on parking at the bottom of the Slug Road turning in from Evans Street. Parking on both sides up and past the first bend has created a hazard for motorists coming down and going up at this point of the Slug, and it's a busy road. Could parking be prohibited until beyond the first bend or restricted to one side to make it safer?

  • We’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed your enquiry to our Road Safety Team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter.
