It is now 08/07/2026. During June 2026, council operatives were seen on foot spraying weedkiller in the area. As it would transpire they have mostly sprayed only the edges of the roadside grass verges. Along full length of Hillside Crescent circa 90% of the weeds at edge of carriage/footpath have not been tackled, example in photo provided. Please rectify the area in full whilst dry weather conditions prevail.

  • We’ll look into this issue and determine the appropriate team best placed to assess what can be done to resolve the problem.

    We will now investigate and provide you with an update within the next 20 working days; we’ll let you know when that assessment has taken place.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. We’ve now carried out a review and confirmed that the issue raised does not relate to the road network or an asset maintained by the Roads Service.

    We have passed your enquiry on to our Landscape Services Team who will now take forward the matter and action accordingly.
