Outside no 12 Park Lane Gartly water leak

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 972256.

Where the footpath and pavement meet there is water leaking down pavement and onto street from number 12 to bottom of road. Scottish Water have attended yesterday and advised not their connection they have passed onto council but no-one has attended.

  • We’ve had a look at the issue and have now passed your enquiry to our local Roads Team for assessment. They’ll determine what action is needed and we’ll update you once that assessment has taken place.

    We’ve completed our inspection and identified that the issue relates to an obstruction or defect for which a private party is responsible, under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.

    The Roads Authority is taking appropriate action to resolve the matter. This may include requiring the responsible individual or organisation to carry out remedial work within a specified timescale.

    We’ll continue to monitor the situation and take further steps if necessary to ensure compliance.
