Arrow on sign Non Existent
Reported via desktop in the Signs & Bollards category anonymously at 19:54, Thursday 11 June 2026
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 969587.
This issue was reported by myself in April and also by someone else last summer, surely it cant take a year to change one sign! This sign is on the approach to the Bridge of Ardlethen and is what I would class as a Road Safety issue as there have been numerous incidents of people 'racing' to cross the bridge from the Ellon side, this has resulted in accidents on the bridge itself. I will also be raising this issue with my local Councillor as I believe someone may be seriously hurt in an accident at this location.

Depending on the nature and scope of the initial enquiry, the necessary repairs will have been carried out either by our frontline maintenance crews or, in some cases, completed directly by one of our inspectors during their site visit.
