Advertising notice on road sign at busy junction

A company has erected advertising notice on 2 signs close to busy road junctions potentially causing a distraction. They have been there for at least 3 weeks as I have been walking past that location regularly. One sign is just at the junction of Bath Street/Slug Road and the other is on Westfield Road as you approach the junction on a street lighting column which I understand is not permitted. Perhaps these could be removed when a Road Inspector is next in the vicinity.

  • We’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed your enquiry to our Road Safety Team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter.
