Pathway breaking up
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:46, Thursday 30 April 2026
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 963900.
The pathway on loch street was replaced 2 years ago. Our side from 7 loch street up to 1 was not done. This repair was done while we had snow and was held up for many weeks. Now the tar is breaking up and letting water into foundations. Could someone come out and assess this please.

We have an update - we’ve completed our assessment of the defect logged with us and evaluated the risk it poses.
This risk level determines our target response time which are then are used to prioritise and programme work.
At this stage, other defects posing a higher risk are taking priority and we are not planning to carry out any repair work here at this time. The defect location has been recorded and will be assessed again during the next planned inspection for any further deterioration.
State changed to: No further action
