New flashing pelican crossing

Reported via mobile in the Request for Advice or Information category anonymously at 20:58, Wednesday 25 March 2026

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 959147.

As shown in the attached photographs, this new light was switched on today. The light is approx. 2 metres from my window and it has rapidly become apparent that this is now extermely intrusive and the continual flashing is extremely irritating. Similar installations in Banchory include a much higher level of screening from neighbouring properties. Why has this not been included here? This needs to be addressed immediately.
