Lots of litter on the road side on the A975 between Slains school junction and Newburgh
Reported via mobile in the Street Sweeping category anonymously at 11:48, Monday 2 March 2026
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 955623.
Litter is really becoming an issue on this stretch of road with tires, small rubbish plastic bags probably from campervans staying nearby, glass bottles, cans, plastic containers. The issue has been made worse by the fact that you have now cut the grass before collecting the rubbish and shredded everything. There mangled cans flying on the road. I had to swerve to avoid a glass bottle rolling on the road a few days ago on my bike. Very dangerous. Litter attracts Litter so get this sorted. Not only is it an eyesore, it's also an environmental issue and road safety issue.
