Mud/stones on road/pavement

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 955418.
Mud and stones being dragged onto the road from vehicles entering and exiting the new site. Small stones on the road which are being bounced onto peoples cars and drives. Have tried speaking to the contractors at site but they aren't doing anything about it.

We’ve completed our inspection and identified that the issue relates to an obstruction or defect for which a private party is responsible, under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.
The Roads Authority is taking appropriate action to resolve the matter. This may include requiring the responsible individual or organisation to carry out remedial work within a specified timescale.
We’ll continue to monitor the situation and take further steps if necessary to ensure compliance.
