Road safety issue at Matthew Drive / Kinmundy Walk, Peterhead

Reported via desktop in the Road Safety Issue category anonymously at 16:09, Wednesday 25 February 2026

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 954924.

Customer is concerned with the parking of cars during school drop off/pick up and when the nearby pitches are being used by the football teams. There are double yellow lines but cars will often park on these. The customer is concerned about a child being knocked down due to lack of visibility and bad parking. Customer thinks zig zag lines should be laid down ( similar to Cairntrodlie ) as this may prevent illegal parking - she also thinks we should do a survey to gauge how busy the area is for children.
