Large Pot hole and continual water flowing from Bridge

Reported via desktop in the Gully category anonymously at 18:16, Monday 9 February 2026

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 951438.

This road is now becoming impasable with our private vehicles. The Work done previously to bury the new 33KV electric cables was filled in poorly and now large potholes appear regularly in this section. With the continual flow down the road during wet periods the holes are also unsighted. I have lived in this areaq for a long time and this section of road has never had a proper recovering.

  • We’re currently developing our approach to displaying priorities and target completion times to keep residents better informed. In the meantime, we’ll continue to assess the level of risk and allocate resources based on urgency, location, and the availability of repair teams.

This defect has been added to our works programme and will be scheduled accordingly.

    • To be Completed by: 08/05/2026
    • Road category: 4B
    • Road speed limit: 60

The date shown above represents the latest target for completion based on our current programme of works. This may be brought forward where resources, operational priorities, or coordination with other activities allow. Defects assessed as posing a higher risk are prioritised for earlier repair whenever possible.

Thank you for your patience while we carry out this work.

  • Someone has poorly attempted to fill one of the multiple craters on this road. Every journey has to be extended as the top to middle section of our road is impassable. Local councillors and MP will be forwarded the images and information this week.
