20mph school signs

Good afternoon, The school 20mph zone road signs are not working at Largue School and have not been working for sometime. This has been previously reported by others and there has still been no resolve to these issues. Given the school is on a blind corner, in very close proximity to a road, and with the road being overall a busy/fast road, I am requesting this be looked into as a matter of urgency.
If the signs cannot be fixed imminently, in the short term could extra measure’s not be put in place, such as additional 20mph speed limit signs within the school area (ie as per you would impose for road works). Cars do not adhere to the speed limits at the best of times on this road, however when the 20mph signs are not working, it isn’t helping the situation where cars are speeding past young children walking/crossing the road to school. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
