Road flooded again

Reported via desktop in the Road Flooding or Standing Water category anonymously at 11:59, Thursday 5 February 2026

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 950631.

Goid morning This needs urgent attention, is a safety issue, and has needed urgent attention for a long time. This section of road floods every time it rains. This culvert style bridge urgently needs a simple modification to allow the water to run off. Water builds up to a height of as much as 20cm every time it rains. Modification would not take an experienced roads team long. Suggested solution: create a channel in the middle of the bridge that exits through cored holes in the culvert side wall. your help appreciated, ty
