Large pothole

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 947637.

Taken from Methlick Community Facebook page: Heads up to anyone heading out the Ellon road. Just outside of Methlick on the straight there is a pothole hidden by the pooling water. It’s already big enough that you will notice it if you hit it and it’s only going to get worse. Don’t want someone loosing a tyre or wheel.

This may have already been reported but I did hit a pothole around 7pm heading to Ellon just outside of Methlick. Not sure exact location but it felt a deep pothole. Have not been able to inspect my wheels in the dark will do so in daylight.

    We’re currently developing our approach to displaying priorities and target completion times to keep residents better informed. In the meantime, we’ll continue to assess the level of risk and allocate resources based on urgency, location, and the availability of repair teams.
