B976 - roadside is collapsing

Reported via desktop in the Third Party Defect - Utility category anonymously at 16:08, Thursday 15 January 2026

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 945315.

BT have been digging new fibre optic cables in along the roadside. With the recent rain / snow run off the side of the road where the cable was dug has started to collapse and it looks like the tarmac might be undermined by the soil giving way.
