Thank you for contacting Aberdeenshire Council regarding the ongoing winter weather.
Our current focus is to deploy our currently finite resources on a priority basis and our focus for our gritter fleet has been on the primary network, the main A and B class roads, and then deploying onto the more minor roads.
Whilst we don’t have the exact details for this area in terms of gritter routes at present, as the situation is changing constantly, it will be treated in accordance with the current priority route plan. On more rural locations this may end up being a tractor based plough in the first instance and then followed up with a gritter when resources allow. Local Road Teams are hard at work to try and cover as many areas as possible.
