Request for Urgent Refill of Grit Bin at AB39 2TQ Bin has been left. During recent icy conditions, the grit bin at this location has either been left unfilled or only partially refilled despite hazardous conditions. This hill is frequently used by local pedestrians and vehicles, and the lack of adequate grit poses a risk of slips, falls, and vehicle skidding, particularly during prolonged freezing conditions.

    As part of the ongoing review of grit bins across towns and villages, this bin is no longer maintained by the Roads Service. Some bins are being transferred to local groups while others will be removed.

    Unfortunately, this grit bin is no longer scheduled to be replenished, and will not be refilled.
