Empty Grit Bin
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 940962.
Can our grit bin be refilled please? When certain ones were being taken out of circulation our one was staying due to being on a slight hill. Have tried to report it as empty but there’s no yellow dot to report as it as empty. AB39 3ZG. We have as a collective cleared the street as best as we can but it’s very slippy and the grit bin is almost empty. Many thanks #1

Thanks for getting in touch. This grit bin is situated in a location that does not fall under the Roads Service’s maintenance responsibilities.
Bins at schools, medical centres, hospitals, new housing developments, or other non-adopted locations are managed by the organisation or company responsible for that site.
Unfortunately, this bin is not part of our replenishment programme and will not be refilled.
