Request for New Footpath
Reported via desktop anonymously at 22:19, Saturday 3 January 2026
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 940443.
There is no safe pedestrian access from Stonehaven to the properties at the Blue Lodge Access Junction. There has been part of a footpath built here previously and it would be great to see a new footpath implemented for a safer walking route.
My proposal is the footpath to start at the roundabout at Redcloak House and continue round to the Blue Lodge Junction as seen in map capture attached to this report.
This would also provide a safer walking route for when the houses in the Ury Estate are built.
