20mph speed restriction sign outside school not working. This is a safety issue and has caused a near miss due to a speeding car passing at the end of the school day.

    We’re currently developing our approach to displaying priorities and target completion times to keep residents better informed. In the meantime, we’ll continue to assess the level of risk and allocate resources based on urgency, location, and the availability of repair teams.

    This defect has been added to our works programme and will be scheduled accordingly.

  • This was due to be completed by the 25th Feb 2026 but the 20mph signs are still not working. Can you please provide an update as the lack of working signs still poses a risk to safety outside the school.
