During periods of winter weather and our limited resources, it is not possible to ensure that all parts of the road network are always kept free of ice or snow.
We must prioritise which routes are gritted and ploughed, concentrating on busy, strategic routes first. This means that in times of severe winter weather there may be a delay before we are able to treat more minor roads and residential streets.
Residents are encouraged to visit our website for full details of our winter maintenance service, including gritting routes at: www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/roads/winter-maintenance
We value all enquiries and will use your feedback to improve future services. However, please note that no further updates will be provided on individual enquiries.
