Tree compromised in last storm
Reported via desktop in the Trees Fallen on Road category anonymously at 10:37, Tue 4 November 2025
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 931405.
I have concerns about this tree directly across from my house at 6 Meadow Avenue . It was badly damaged in the last storm and split . Thankfully the split part went sideways and not towards my house . You can see in the wide shot how close this is to my house as you can see the top of my garden wall at the foot . I am concerned that the part of the tree left may come down in a future storm and fall on my garden wall and house and cause destruction. Please could someone visit the site and see what the best way forward is . My personal opinion is that it should be felled in the interest of safety to my house and it’s occupants and possibly next doors too . Thank you

We’ve completed our inspection and were unable to log a defect requiring action by the Roads Service.
In many cases, this means the issue may relate to land or infrastructure that is not maintained by our service. This could include areas looked after by another part of the Council — such as housing, landscape, or waste services — or by a third party, such as a utility provider, housing association, developer, or private landowner.
If the situation changes, or if you’re able to provide additional information, you’re welcome to get back in touch. However, if the issue continues to fall outside the Roads Service’s responsibility, it will remain with the appropriate service or owner to address.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention
