The drain cover is 4inches blow the roadsurface creating a large pothole type hole in the centre of the lowered kerb for my driveway and is damaging ours cars when driving in and out the driveway. It is very derp and causes a large bang if wheel drops into it.

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 930906.

This pothole has been like this for a long time but as the new householder I am not willing to accept this as it will cause damage tour our cars. The driveway is used constantly soo would request urgent remedial work please.

  • We have an update – we’ve completed our assessment of the gully defect you reported and evaluated the risk it poses.

    The level of risk determines our target response times, which are then used to prioritise and programme work across the network.

    In this case, the defect does not require immediate attention, but it will be picked up the next time we are carrying out routine gully maintenance on this road.

    The location has been recorded and will be monitored during future inspections to check for any changes in condition.
