Extremely rough road surface, unavoidable.

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 929219.

The road surface in the location plotted as you approach Ellon from Auchnagatt is very bad, it appears to be a mixture of pot holes/deteriorated road facing. It is unavoidable unlike some other pot holes.

  • We’re currently developing our approach to displaying priorities and target completion times to keep residents better informed. In the meantime, we’ll continue to assess the level of risk and allocate resources based on urgency, location, and the availability of repair teams.

    This defect has been added to our works programme and will be scheduled accordingly.

    Depending on the nature and scope of the initial enquiry, the necessary repairs will have been carried out either by our frontline maintenance crews or, in some cases, completed directly by one of our inspectors during their site visit.
