You’ve issue Echt with 20mph signs but failed to replace the ones exiting Forbes Park AB32 6HN

Reported via mobile in the Signs & Bollards category anonymously at 12:38, Fri 3 October 2025

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 927564.

You’ve issue Echt with 20mph signs but failed to replace the ones exiting Forbes Park AB32 6HN.

Also please replace the flashing sign at the east entrance to Echt on B9119 as it was effective at reminding traffic speeding along the Echt straight from Garlogie to slow down

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Aberdeenshire Council at 12:39, Tue 7 October 2025

  • We’ve completed our inspection and were unable to log a defect requiring action by the Roads Service.

In many cases, this means the issue may relate to land or infrastructure that is not maintained by our service. This could include areas looked after by another part of the Council — such as housing, landscape, or waste services — or by a third party, such as a utility provider, housing association, developer, or private landowner.

If the situation changes, or if you’re able to provide additional information, you’re welcome to get back in touch. However, if the issue continues to fall outside the Roads Service’s responsibility, it will remain with the appropriate service or owner to address.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention
