50 miles an hour speed limit

Reported via mobile in the Speeding Issue category anonymously at 10:10, Sun 28 September 2025

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 926861.

This road is a 50 miles an hour speed limit which people always do above as it’s a straight road. There is a few house with children & pets this roads needs to be at least a 40 if not lower. Potterton the town 2 miles ahead is a 40. Whitecairns has had a few car accidents in the last year. Which has lead to property’s being damaged. If a child or pet accidentally gets out and faces people doing 60/70/80 this would be fatal. Just up into whitecairns is now a 20 yet the main road is still 50. Cars can’t even get in there drives without people being worried for their safety especially during peak times. Please review this at your nearest convenience.
