Blocked drains
Reported via mobile in the Gully category anonymously at 14:55, Wednesday 3 September 2025
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 923751.
This drain blocks every time it rains which then leads onto the water forming into a large puddle in the middle of the road with potential to cause a road traffic collision. Drain located on the bend just before entering the lake coming into strichen side from new deer road. A new drain installed in last few years.
The drains around this area leading along the bridge into strichen and up To the cemetery are all blocked with leaves after the recent storm so rain water not going away and causing large puddles. So all drains need cleared.
I’ve also had to try unblock and clear some drains after the storm as been no one out to clear debris after the storm.
