Road surface issue

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 922571.

Multiple potholes and poor road condition, while there are not many houses on this road there a high number of tourists using the road making it busier. The road is becoming very unsafe and damaging cars. The residents of the houses include people who are registered disabled and have health conditions.

  • We’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed your enquiry to our local Roads Team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when that assessment has taken place.

  • We’re currently developing our approach to displaying priorities and target completion times to keep residents better informed. In the meantime, we’ll continue to assess the level of risk and allocate resources based on urgency, location, and the availability of repair teams.

    This defect has been added to our works programme and will be scheduled accordingly.
