Parking

Reported via desktop in the On Street Parking Issue category anonymously at 14:16, Fri 15 August 2025

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 921242.

I wonder if you'd kind enough to help me. I would like to know if the building contractors currently working on Burnside Rd, Portsoy, AB45 2QZ have permission to erect a sign preventing parking 24 hours per day in front of their works. As I live on Burnside Rd, this adversely affects my ability to park. Given the number of vans and lorries they now have parked along the length of the road all day, I'm very unhappy they have taken this measure, seemingly without any notice given to local residents. Surely we should have been informed this was going to happen. I'd be grateful if you could let me know if this has been done with your permission and how long exactly it is likely to be in operation.
