Tree damaged in collision with delivery lorry
Reported via mobile in the Overhanging Trees & Vegetation category anonymously at 18:08, Wed 13 August 2025
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 920919.
I wasn't here to witness it, but I believe the council has already responded to take away some branches and logs that were already to collect. On inspection there is still a fairly large damaged limb that may be at risk during storms. Tree also very unbalanced in the canopy and could benefit from an all over cut back to reduce size from overhang to road and gardens. Also reported root/drain problem separately today.

We’ve completed our inspection and were unable to log a defect requiring action by the Roads Service.
In many cases, this means the issue may relate to land or infrastructure that is not maintained by our service. This could include areas looked after by another part of the Council — such as housing, landscape, or waste services — or by a third party, such as a utility provider, housing association, developer, or private landowner.
If the situation changes, or if you’re able to provide additional information, you’re welcome to get back in touch. However, if the issue continues to fall outside the Roads Service’s responsibility, it will remain with the appropriate service or owner to address.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention
