Really deep pothole in driving line, this is on a school run area, opposite a school, so consider school transport/minibuses etc. This has been repaired previously, but has been eroded back to its original size and tbh, is a lot worse now than previous. This is an urgent matter due to the depth of the pothole and its location.

  • We’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed your enquiry to our local Roads Team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when that assessment has taken place.

  • We have an update - we’ve completed our assessment of the defect logged with us and evaluated the risk it poses.

    This risk level determines our target response time which are then are used to prioritise and programme work.

    At this stage, other defects posing a higher risk are taking priority and we are not planning to carry out any repair work here at this time. The defect location has been recorded and will be assessed again during the next planned inspection for any further deterioration.

  • We’re currently developing our approach to displaying priorities and target completion times to keep residents better informed. In the meantime, we’ll continue to assess the level of risk and allocate resources based on urgency, location, and the availability of repair teams.

    This defect has been added to our works programme and will be scheduled accordingly.
