Reported via desktop in the Signs & Bollards category anonymously at 16:18, Fri 8 August 2025
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 920192.
Request for barrier/metal rail at end on pathway onto Westdyke Gardens from Westdyke Avenue, lots of children are using the path way to travel from playing fields and coming right from path way onto road without looking, if barrier was there this would help stop them coming right out and into traffic. There also used to be a sign for play area but this has fallen down and is lying in garden could thsi be replaced please, thank you.

We have an update - we’ve completed our assessment of the defect logged with us and evaluated the risk it poses.
This risk level determines our target response time which are then are used to prioritise and programme work.
At this stage, other defects posing a higher risk are taking priority and we are not planning to carry out any repair work here at this time. The defect location has been recorded and will be assessed again during the next planned inspection for any further deterioration.
State changed to: No further action
