Damage to bridge

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 919561.

As the road from Laurencekirk to Fettercairn is still currently closed, due to an accident on the narrow bridge on 5th July heavy agricultural vehicles and tractors are all using the Thornton to Wakefield House narrow road and over the little bridge at Mill of Barns Farm. Also trees have fallen and hit the bridge as a result of Storm Floris yesterday. The large branches have been removed but I think that the bridge has been hit as I think damage has been caused to the concrete block parapet and should be investigated for safety reasons. Also heavy agricultural vehicles and big lorries should NOT be permitted to be using this very narrow and fragile old bridge as it simply cannot cope with all the daily extra traffic.
