Too high weeds blocking view on bends

Reported via desktop in the Verge Cutting category anonymously at 21:04, Sun 27 July 2025

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 918417.

There are 2 main bends on this road, the one I have highlighted and one further up the road near the Dubston end. You cannot see any cars/cyclists/people on the road due to very high overgrown purple head weeds. Before you approach the bend you cannot see anything coming down the road due to this. I have gone round the bend and met another car, cyclists and walkers and if you were going quite quick on the road, which I do not, there is going to be an accident. This has happened on numerous occasions over the last month. I live on this road. It happens every year and nothing is done about it. You come and cut the verge so people can step on it when walking but it’s the high weeds with purple heads that are the problem and restrict everyone’s view. It is really dangerous!! For people like me who live on this road we are aware of the hazard but for people not used to this road it is a nightmare and an accident waiting to happen. I hope you can please look at this and get the purple headed weeds cut back. Thank you.
