Road Flooding or Standing Water problem

Flooding (No Sewage) - Water flows down ditch alongside Tillydrine road until it is restricted due to a plastic pipe which is only 6in dia and gets blocked with debris, it can’t take the volume of water and overflows onto road! I have pictures taken today showing exact problem. I have cleared the 6in pipe and water flowing ok now it will take couple of hours to drain off road. Please contact me and I will show the photos and exact place of blockage.

Updates

  • We have an update - we’ve completed our assessment of the defect logged with us and evaluated the risk it poses.

    This risk level determines our target response time which are then are used to prioritise and programme work.

    At this stage, other defects posing a higher risk are taking priority and we are not planning to carry out any repair work here at this time. The defect location has been recorded and will be assessed again during the next planned inspection for any further deterioration.
