Road Flooding or Standing Water problem

Reported in the Road Flooding or Standing Water category by Aberdeenshire Council at 16:40, Fri 25 November 2022

Council ref: 710589.

On Friday 18th November 2022 properties at 2 & 3Woodland Wynd Bandley Alford AB33 8HF were inundated with flood water which was only just prevented from entering the houses.
The severity of the flood was due to an under-size pipe in the ditch across from the opening to Woodland Wynd which caused a huge amount of displaced water to flow into our street.
According to a neighbour this pipe was installed by Aberdeenshire Council and has always been completely ineffective during flood conditions.
