Gully problem

Gully/Drain - This fault was reported, actioned and completed last week, but today was found still completely block with old sand and silt, that I dug out myself, but it really needs to have the sucker / jetter to ensure the pipe is clean and can function as it should, to allow water to pass under the road rather than over the top, also the ditch at the side of the road is extremely over grown with grass etc, despite this we managed to divert some water that way from the road

Updates

  • We have an update - we’ve completed our assessment of the defect logged with us and evaluated the risk it poses.

    This risk level determines our target response time which are then are used to prioritise and programme work.

    At this stage, other defects posing a higher risk are taking priority and we are not planning to carry out any repair work here at this time. The defect location has been recorded and will be assessed again during the next planned inspection for any further deterioration.
