Road Markings problem

All of the road markings have worn away at the junction. Considered to be very dangerous as it’s not clear who has right of way or where the lane markings are to turn into Fintray Road. Drivers unfamiliar with the road are creating a risk to other drivers if they don’t follow the markings that locals are more aware of. Only a matter of time before there is a head on accident as a result. ;

Updates

  • We have an update - we’ve completed our assessment of the defect logged with us and evaluated the risk it poses.

    This risk level determines our target response time which are then are used to prioritise and programme work.

    At this stage, other defects posing a higher risk are taking priority and we are not planning to carry out any repair work here at this time. The defect location has been recorded and will be assessed again during the next planned inspection for any further deterioration.
