Signs & Bollards problem

Reported in the Signs & Bollards category by Aberdeenshire Council at 09:06, Tue 29 October 2024

Council ref: 867717.

We rescued it as it had blown into the road.
It is heavy and could have caused serious injury if it had fell on someone's head as it is over the Ross the Baker's property.

It is the old type of sign so a but of an historic piece and you may not want it back on the building as many of the new signs are metal and therefore lighter.

If you would like it back to reinstate it I will leave it in an obvious place under the bird table and who ever wants to collect it can when they put it back onto the building.

If you dont want it I will leave it in my garden as a sculpture!

Please let me know either way and if you could give me a new enquiry number I will use that one in future.

Updates

  • We have an update - we’ve completed our assessment of the defect logged with us and evaluated the risk it poses.

This risk level determines our target response time which are then are used to prioritise and programme work.

At this stage, other defects posing a higher risk are taking priority and we are not planning to carry out any repair work here at this time. The defect location has been recorded and will be assessed again during the next planned inspection for any further deterioration.

State changed to: No further action
