Manhole Cover down the manhole
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 915156.
This is dangerous. Cover was sitting loose for aabout a week. It is now down the hole. My dog almost fell down here on a walk so I have covered it with a wooden pallette.

Thank you for your report. We’ve arranged for an inspection to take place so we can confirm who is responsible for the issue you’ve raised.
This may involve checking whether the defect relates to the public road network or to infrastructure maintained by a utility company or other private party.
We’ll update you once the inspection is complete and we know how the matter will be progressed.

This doesn't appear to have been addressed. There is a traffic cone on top of my pallet that I put there as a temporary fix for safety reasons. I don't know who put the cone there. I would like my pallet back as I use it in my garden but obviously don't want to remove it and leave the dangerous open hole again
