Overgrown Vegetation Hiding Speed Limit Sign

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 914923.

Northside of A93 east of Sunnyside Drive Drumoak. There is heavy vegetaion growth blocking the Speed Limit Sign. This requires cutting back by landowner or council.

  • We’ve completed our inspection and identified that the issue relates to an obstruction or defect for which a private party is responsible, under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.

    The Roads Authority is taking appropriate action to resolve the matter. This may include requiring the responsible individual or organisation to carry out remedial work within a specified timescale.

    We’ll continue to monitor the situation and take further steps if necessary to ensure compliance.
