Gully problem

Council ref: 914165.
Gully/Drain - the drain was cleared by the council roads for flooding but to remove the drain a sledgehammer was used. this has broken it and resulted in sharp edges which could cause a puncture.

We’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed your enquiry to our local Roads Team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when that assessment has taken place.

We’re currently developing our approach to displaying priorities and target completion times to keep residents better informed. In the meantime, we’ll continue to assess the level of risk and allocate resources based on urgency, location, and the availability of repair teams.
This defect has been added to our works programme and will be scheduled accordingly.

The issue you reported has now been resolved.
Depending on the nature and scope of the initial enquiry, the necessary repairs will have been carried out either by our frontline maintenance crews or, in some cases, completed directly by one of our inspectors during their site visit.
